Water Fit – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Dare Innovator ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Water Fit – Water Reminder App ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App:

Account & Identity Data

• Name and display name
• Email address
• Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you)
• Authentication tokens from Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In

Health & Body Data

• Body weight (kg)
• Height (cm)
• Gender
• Daily water intake logs and hydration history
• Personal daily water goal (ml)

This data is used solely to personalize your daily hydration goal and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Location Data

• Approximate device location (used to display local weather conditions that affect hydration recommendations)

Location is only accessed when you use the App and is not stored on our servers beyond the active session.

Device & Usage Data

• Device identifiers (for advertising and crash reporting)
• App usage patterns and session data (via Firebase Analytics)
• Crash logs and diagnostic data (via Firebase Crashlytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your user account
• To calculate and personalize your daily water intake goal based on your body stats
• To send hydration reminder notifications at your chosen times
• To display your hydration history and insights
• To show weather-based hydration recommendations using your location
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob
• To improve app performance and fix bugs using crash reports
• To understand how users interact with the App via analytics
• To maintain a leaderboard of hydration streaks among users

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

4. Advertising

The App displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and app usage data to show personalized or non-personalized ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Rewarded and interstitial ads may appear during normal app usage. Watching rewarded ads is optional and required to continue logging water after every 5 consecutive logs.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Health data (weight, height, gender) is stored in your private Firebase Firestore document, accessible only to your authenticated account.

6. Notifications

The App sends push notifications to remind you to drink water based on your configured wake-up time, bedtime, and reminder interval. Notifications are:

• Entirely controlled by you in the Reminders screen
• Automatically paused once your daily water goal is met
• Resumable the next day

You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Hydration logs are stored indefinitely to display historical insights. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time (see Section 8).

8. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
